Businesses are being asked to make serious decisions about Cybersecurity, AI and technology, often without anyone around them who can explain it in plain terms. That's the gap I work in.

I speak on Cybersecurity and AI to non-technical audiences, helping business owners, leadership teams, schools and charities understand where the real risks sit and what sensible action actually looks like. No scare tactics, no jargon and no session everyone has forgotten by lunchtime.

Alongside that, I work as a Fractional CTO and strategic IT lead for growing organisations that need experienced technology leadership without the cost of a full-time hire. That might mean shaping technology strategy, leading a cloud migration, tightening up security or bringing order to a mess of suppliers and systems. The goal is always the same: make technology support the business instead of getting in its way.

I'm a Chartered IT Professional and a Fellow of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Fellowship is BCS's highest professional membership grade and recognises the body of work, professional impact and standing you have built during your career. I'm proud of it, and prouder still of the work behind it.

I've also won national awards for my work in IT support and Cybersecurity.

What clients tend to value most, though, is simpler than any of that, someone who gives them a straight answer and doesn't pass the buck.
